Ramesh Chand Meena is a distinguished Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1997 batch, Gujarat cadre. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department at the Sachivalaya in Gandhinagar, Gujarat correcting the misconception that it is located in New Delhi where he oversees the state’s food distribution system, ensures the availability of essential commodities, and protects consumer rights.
